RESEARCH ASSOCIATE, New York

Description:

The department of Pediatrics is seeking a research associate to support our research team and assist with inpatient operations. This role helps ensure clinical trials are conducted properly and follow Good Clinical Practice (GCP) standards. The associate will help manage day-to-day logistics for inpatient teams, assist with scheduling to meet clinical and academic needs, and support the integration of clinical trials into patient care. Responsibilities include collecting and shipping samples, obtaining informed consent for non-interventional studies, assisting with consent for interventional trials, maintaining study files, and submitting required data. The research associate will also participate in clinical rounds to support recruitment, administer questionnaires, and assist with other study tasks. In addition, the role may involve helping with regulatory submissions, including IRB paperwork and document maintenance.

 

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree required

MS Office proficient.

Knowledge of statistical software programs (ie, SAS and SPSS) preferred.

Experience with Pediatric patients preferred.

Life Sciences or Public Health background preferred.

Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Experience in clinical research or a healthcare setting is a plus
