Job Title: RN– Pediatrics Location: Bronx, NY 10461 Duration: 06/08/2026 – 09/12/2026 Shift: Night Shift – 7:00 PM–7:30 AM Schedule: 3 days/week, 11.5 hrs/day, 34.5 hrs/week, No on-call required Pay Range: $72-$74/hr. Schedule Notes: One contract only; no extension Work Setting: Pediatrics / Acute Care Hospital Required Skills&Experience: Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg Rehab experience in a large acute care hospital setting with most recent experience within the past year Physical assessment experience Medication administration experience Wound care and infection control experience IV therapy experience Post-operative care experience Patient education experience Telemetry monitoring experience Preferred Skills&Experience: EPIC EMR experience Education: Associate’s Degree in Nursing from an accredited educational institute required Required Certifications&Licensure: New York State RN License with Primary Source Verification AHA BLS Job Summary: Provides direct patient care by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care plans in collaboration with healthcare professionals Delivers bedside nursing care for pediatric patients within an acute care hospital environment Duties: Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans Provide direct and individualized bedside nursing care Prepare, administer, and document prescribed medications Change dressings, insert catheters, and start IVs Adjust specialized medical equipment and interpret measurements Monitor patient vitals and report adverse medication reactions Collaborate with healthcare team on discharge planning Educate patients and families regarding procedures and post-care instructions Maintain patient charts, files, and medical records Adhere to nursing standards, protocols, and best practices
