Entry-Level Maintenance Technician — Apartment Community
About the Role
We're looking for a motivated
Entry-Level Maintenance Technician
to join our on-site team and help keep our apartment community running smoothly.
If you enjoy working with your hands, solving problems, and learning new skills, this is a great opportunity to start a long-term career in property maintenance.
Key Responsibilities
General Maintenance — Assist with basic repairs including plumbing, electrical, HVAC filters, lighting, and appliance troubleshooting.
Work Orders — Respond to resident service requests promptly and professionally.
Preventive Care — Support routine inspections and scheduled maintenance to keep buildings and equipment in good condition.
Groundskeeping — Help maintain clean, safe, and attractive common areas, including trash removal and seasonal tasks.
Turnovers — Assist with preparing vacant units for new residents (painting, cleaning, minor repairs).
Emergency Support — Participate in on-call rotation after training.
What We're Looking For
Entry-Level Candidates — No professional maintenance experience required; we will train the right person.
Mechanical Aptitude — Comfortable using hand tools and learning basic repair skills.
(Trade school is a major plus).
Customer Service — Friendly, respectful communication with residents and coworkers.
Reliability — Shows up on time, follows instructions, and takes pride in quality work.
Valid driver's license.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $***** - $*****/hr.
