Physical Therapist (Part-Time), New York

Our client, A prestigious school located in NYC has immediate need for an Part-Time Physical Therapist

Type: Contract/ Ongoing

Schedule: Part-Time

Location: Brooklyn, NY

Responsibilities include:

Review and interpret assessment data and present attending students' needs and capabilities.

Establish relevant and attainable short term and long term goals which reflect assessment data.

Prepare IEP, daily treatment plans and Progress Reports as needed.

Work within the classroom setting and work with classroom staff to create environment which maximizes function and compensates for dysfunction.

Provide purposeful activities or methods, employed to develop, maintain, improve, restore and/or maximize function and compensate for dysfunction.

Adapt treatment activities when necessary to achieve desired goals.

Qualifications:

Bachelors or Masters in Physical Therapy

New York State License required

Pediatric experience highly preferred

Ability to work effectively with staff and students with developmental disabilities
