Project Overview: Bechtel is partnering with NextDecade to support their vision to provide the world access to lower carbon intensive energy with their Rio Grande LNG (RGLNG) project in Brownsville, Texas. RGLNG is a natural gas liquefaction and export terminal situated on a 984-acre site on the banks of the Brownsville ship channel. The first phase of the RGLNG project consists of three liquefaction trains, two storage tanks and one marine berth. At full capacity, the five-train facility will have a production capacity of 27 million tonnes per annum (MTPA).Project Location Overview Brownsville, Texas is a city known for its diverse history, tradition, and rich culture. In this role, you will support inventory and warehouse processes and procedures. You will complete documentation, verify receipts, provide data entry, assist with inventory, obtain inspection reports, issue materials, initiate shipping notices and gate passes, and monitor inbound and outbound traffic. Your work will help verify procedures are followed and will contribute to ensuring accurate inventory.Major Responsibilities
Reviews order receiving documentation including commercial invoices, packing lists, and bills of lading for accuracy and completeness when required to perform data entry input for inventory control systems During receipt process, confirms that material and equipment has been stored in a suitable location based on type of goods and supplier-recommended storage requirementsAssists with performing complete or partial inventories as required to validate inventory records Ensures that all distribution of material is properly controlled and documented in accordance with project procedures Prepares shipping documents and registers for all materials shipped from temporary operating and jobsite locationsWhen required, prepares a Construction Equipment Inspection Report, for all equipment rentals from BEO (Bechtel Equipment Operations) or third-party equipment rental supplier When required, prepares and maintains the Digital Supply Chain System (DSCS) Construction Equipment Log Education and Experience Requirements
Requires 2-4 years of related experience Required Knowledge and Skills
Experience with Aconex or other Electronic Content Management Systems Must be able to demonstrate intermediate proficiency using Microsoft Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills including spelling, grammar, punctuation, and proper use of syntaxMust be able to always provide clear communication to other personnel in a professional manner Must be able to perform multiple tasks while meeting deadlines Must hold a valid driver's license Previous Bechtel experience working as an administrative assistant/secretary (preferred) Familiarity with Bechtel, and legal information management/records management requirements (preferred)Experience working at a construction jobsite (preferred) Experience with e-Track (preferred) Total Rewards/Benefits
