Production Supervisor, Cypress

Eleven Recruiting is seeking a talented 1st Shift Production Supervisor to join one of our premier aerospace manufacturing clients. This role is responsible for overseeing production operations with a focus on assembly, welding, and fabrication, ensuring seamless execution and adherence to production plans.

Responsibilities:

Supervise the assembly, welding, and fabrication of components, sub-assemblies, and final assemblies.

Leverage daily management practices to maintain continuous production flow across 1st and 2nd shifts.

Host daily GEMBA meetings with management to communicate detailed status updates on production plans and ensure the timely completion of action items.

Oversee the installation, operation, and maintenance of manufacturing equipment.

Ensure the prompt, cost-effective, and on-time delivery of finished products to customers.

Maintain accurate records for all employees and programs within the department.

Work effectively with both union and non-union employees to foster a collaborative work environment.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree (B.S. or B.A.) or equivalent experience.

2-3 years of supervisory experience, preferably in an aerospace manufacturing environment.

Demonstrated experience with lean manufacturing principles.

Proven ability to work with both union and non-union employees.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written).

Exceptional planning and organizational abilities.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Expertise in: Composite Fabrication and Sub-Assembly Testing; Metal Machining: CNC operations; Metal Fitting: Alignment and welding; Metal Forming: Shearing, punching, brake press, and bending.
