Production Control Coordinator, Cypress

Production Control Coordinator Duration: 12 Months of Contract with possibility of Extension Location: Cypress, CA ***** Shift: 8.00am to 4.30 Pm (Mon to Fri) on site Job Description Expedites, routes, and dispatches material and parts to meet daily production goals and deadlines.
Check the production schedule daily to identify slow moving WIP and report potential delays to supervisors.
Maintain accurate records of finished orders and provide regular updates on progress.
Prepare essential paperwork, including production travelers and shipping orders, to keep the workflow moving.
Monitor shop floor inventory to ensure materials are correctly issued and orders are close out upon completion.
Log and communicate any changes in material availability, substitutions, or schedule shifts to the production team.
Requirements They don't have ERP, etc type software implemented yet - There will be a lot of manual work with Excel, MS Office.
Would like to see previous manufacturing experience (supply chain side won't work; will need to be a production environment).
Candidates do not need to have experience within a large company, but experience in a manufacturing/line operating environment is what we are looking for This is a physically demanding role - 70% physical / 3.0% computer.
Education Associate's in supply chain or Operations preferred; equivalent experience also acceptable (2 years).
