Position Overview: State Fire is seeking qualified

Fire Alarm Technicians

to support existing and upcoming low voltage construction and service projects in Boise, ID, and surrounding areas. You will play a key role in maintaining our high standards of safety, service, and customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities: Perform installation, maintenance, and service of fire alarm systems

Respond to and assess emergency service or warranty calls

Maintain daily safety paperwork, including Field Level Risk Assessments and job site inspections

Lead or collaborate with subcontractors to complete projects efficiently

Maintain relationships with Project Managers, Property Managers, vendors, and subcontractors

Travel to other states as workload requires

Ensure clean, safe, and productive work environments on all job sites

Requirements: Qualifications&Skills: NICET Level 1 or equivalent certification (or higher)

Idaho Limited Energy License or ability to obtain within 90 days

2+ years of low voltage field experience preferred

Ability to read and understand blueprints

Skilled in trade-specific tools and equipment

Strong organizational, communication, and teamwork skills

Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects

Proficiency in English

Physical Requirements: Sit, stand, kneel, crouch, or stoop for prolonged periods

Climb ladders, scaffolding, and stairs

Lift, transport, and place objects up to 70 pounds safely
