JOB DESCRIPTION Our customer is looking for an Engineer Software 2 to support their EA-18G Programs. As a member of the EA-18G software team you"ll get to develop software to support their Growler Block 1 and Growler Block 2 programs. This position will serve on-site at Naval Air Warfare Center, Point Mugu and their Camarillo, CA office. Responsibilities:

• Develop embedded real-time system software.
• Work in an Agile environment as part of a scrum team.
• Resolve software and system defects.
• Collaborate with their customers, internal client sites and disciplines.
• Participate and contribute to peer reviews, critical milestone reviews, and technical inter-change meetings.

Use project dependent tools including:

• Rational Clear Case, ClearQuest, DOORS.
• Git, Bitbucket, Jira, Confluence.
• Ada, C/C++, C#, Python.
• Green Hills Integrity RTOS, Windows, and Linux.

Basic Qualifications for Engineer Software 2:

• BS degree in a STEM field (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) with 2 years of experience, or MS degree in a STEM field (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) with 1 years of experience.
• Experience with a higher order language such as Ada, C/C++, C#.
• Knowledge of object-oriented software development.
• Ability to function as a member of an integrated team.
• Experience with version control systems (e.g. git, Bitbucket, ClearCase, etc.)
• US Citizenship required.
• DoD Secret Clearance or higher, interim Secret is acceptable.

Preferred Qualifications for Engineer Software 2:

• Strong verbal communication and customer service skills.
• Strong collaborative mindset.
• Experience working full software life cycle experience on large scale formal DoD program.
• Experience programming with Ada language.
• Experience programming with C++ language.
• Experience with real-time embedded software development.
• Experience working in an Agile environment.
• Electronic Warfare system development and design experience.
