Job Purpose:
Serve as Manufacturing Technical Trainer to develop, schedule, and deliver equipment technical training to technical associates (Equipment Service, Engineering, Production Staff, etc.) for the purpose of optimizing North America region (Local Ooffice & Regional Office) resources skills to improve manufacturing efficiency and plant characteristics.
Key Accountabilities:
Deliver equipment technical training to Equipment Service, Equipment Engineers, and Operators
Maintain/modify training curriculum and aides/equipment relevant to existing technologies
Develop training relevant to new manufacturing technologies including curriculum and aides/Persuading Technical Development Unit management on training needs throughout North America through analysis reporting
Maintain Training Equipment
Complete administrative duties relevant to course delivery (Reporting/Recording/Requisitions)
Communicate with Maintenance Equipment Services Department plant leaders on Root Cause Analysis activity (RCA) and technical support
Support other training sites with course delivery or development needs
Qualifications, Experience, and Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering technology, electro-mechanical, or similar field OR equivalent manufacturing experience
2+ years as a Tech Trainer I or relevant manufacturing experience (equipment service or engineering preferred)
PLC, robotics, or other electro-mechanical system knowledge, MS-Office, CAD tool (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, CATIA), teaching certification (not required), E-Flow evaluation process
Working Conditions:
Weekly OT is limited (5 to 10 hours)
Travel to other manufacturing sites 6 to 8 times per year
Off-shift training as needed
Classroom, lab working environment & plant floor as require
