Pay Range: $18.00 - $20.00/HR Permanent Position with Benefits

Canton, Ohio area Manufacturing Firm seeks a Laser Cutting Punch Press Operator for their 1st Shift position

REQUIREMENTS:

High School, GED, Vocational School, Trade School, and/or Higher Level of Education with a minimum of (6) months of experience working as a Laser Cutting and/or Punch Press machine operator.

Training may be provided to Candidates who have some or all of our requirements.

Candidates must be capable of following verbal and written directions, read blueprints, review set up sheets and specifications to determine set up procedures, machine sequence and verify the dimensions of finished pieces.

Solid math and computer skills are required.

Candidates are required to install punch press tools, adjust position of the tool in the machine and initializes the laser.

Candidates will install software (tape, disks, etc.) in adjust the machine via the control console and enter commands for cutting or punching to a specified set point.

Candidates will monitor the gas consumption of laser and make adjustments to compensate for material type and material thickness.

Candidates must maintain a clean and safe work area assisting maintenance teams as required.

Candidates are required to pass a Criminal Background Check and a 10 Panel Drug Screen.
