Chief Engineer, Canton

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Chief Engineer to oversee the day-to-day operations of our facility maintenance team. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for ensuring the functionality, safety, and efficiency of all building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and more.The ideal candidate will bring deep technical knowledge, strong leadership capabilities, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. As a key contributor to our operations team, the Chief Engineer plays a critical role in maintaining brand standards and regulatory compliance while driving high-quality performance across all maintenance functions. Compensation: $16 - $19 hourly Responsibilities: Recruit, train, schedule, and supervise maintenance staff, fostering a culture of accountability and growth. Plan, coordinate, and oversee maintenance projects, ensuring timely and cost-effective completion. Act as the primary contact for brand partners, ensuring alignment with current standards and protocols. Create and implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and extend equipment life. Evaluate building systems to determine necessary maintenance, repairs, or upgrades. Qualifications: Strong leadership skills with experience in staff development, evaluations, and scheduling. Strong technical expertise in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and general building systems. High school diploma or equivalent required. Minimum 5 years of progressive maintenance experience. Strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
