Administrative Assistant I
The Administrative Assistant I (Business, Engineering and Information Technology Division) acts as a liaison between office staff and Stark State College students, external and internal stakeholders, has excellent customer service and provides support to coworkers.
Typical Hours of Work: Typical hours are Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. until 4:30 p.m.
Hourly Wage: $***** - $*****, commensurate on experience.

Typical Responsibilities Include:
Serves as the first point of contact for a fast paced office by greeting individuals, providing information, answering questions directed via various modes (telephone, e-mail, in person), and responding to requests.
Performs a variety of routine to moderately complex administrative office functions that require an understanding of departmental or divisional operations and policies in support of the department.
Coordinates and maintains effective office procedures and efficient work flow.
Establishes and maintains efficient filing systems and office organization.
Maintains good working relationships with other areas of the college to ensure accurate reporting and coordination of activities.
Exercises good judgment and discretion when handling confidential items or providing information to employees, students, or the public.
To be Considered You'll Need: High school diploma or GED required.
At least one year of administrative assistant experience or an Associate's degree (business, office administration, or related field preferred).
