Business Central Al Developer, Canton

This role focuses on maintaining audit safe posting structures, fixing page customizations, building integrations, and supporting finance and operations with stable, compliant system behavior.
This position works closely with our internal IT/Cyber Engineer, who manages infrastructure, networks, scanners, and production floor devices.
-Hybrid role with mix of in-office time and remote work- Responsibilities Develop, maintain, and troubleshoot AL extensions for Business Central Restore and maintain standard system fields (e.g., Blocked on posting groups) Fix page customizations, posting setups, and extensions issues Support finance with posting logic, intercompany flows, and auditsafe configurations Build and maintain integrations (label printers, scanners, production devices, APIs) Manage sandbox and production deployments Document all changes and ensure upgradesafe development Collaborate with finance, operations, and IT to translate requirements into technical solutionsRequired Skills Strong experience with AL, Visual Studio Code, and BC extension development Deep understanding of posting setup (customer/vendor posting groups, inventory posting, general posting setup) Ability to troubleshoot missing fields, broken pages, and posting errors Experience with manufacturing, warehousing, or logistics modules is a plus Understanding of finance processes (GL, AR, AP, inventory valuation)Ideal Candidate Handson, detailoriented, and comfortable working directly with finance and operations Strong communicator with a controllergrade mindset Able to maintain clean, auditsafe system behavior
