Responsibilities:
Leads a team of motivated Maintenance Technicians
Completes property repairs and manages capital projects with company guidelines.
Develops and completes the pivotal initiatives for the Engineering department, and makes adjustments to the operations in order to meet the strategic goals and interests of Resort Operations
Ensure that the property’s Emergency Preparedness and Safety Awareness Plan(s) are updated and current at all times.
Maintains an accurate inventory of operating supplies, and ensures that proper purchasing procedures are followed to maintain an adequate supply. Ensures all assets of the department, equipment, supplies and storage are properly locked and secured.
Manages relationships, contracts, compliance, and interface issues with the operation’s business supporters and suppliers to ensure business needs and financial responsibilities are handled in a timely manner
Performs other related activities as required.
Key Skills and experience:
Ability to follow basic written and verbal directions, climb stairs and work on ladders up to 40′, push/pull up to 100 lbs, lift/carry up to 50 lbs, grasp, stoop, reach overhead
High School Diploma or equivalent required
3-5 years of related experience required
Ability to write and speak English to comprehend and communicate job functions to engineering staff.
Proficient in Microsoft Office.
It would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:
EPA Certification Type II (HVAC) preferred
EPA I (Appliance) preferred
5-7 years of related experience preferred
