Shuttle Driver, California

Overview:
As a shuttle driver at Everline Resort and Spa, you'll drive the hotel shuttles transporting hotel guests and team members to/from assigned destinations safely, efficiently, and courteously. You'll adhere to all local and state driving laws. You'll ensure the safety and security of passengers and vehicle.

Responsibilities:
Anticipate guests’ needs, respond promptly and acknowledge all guests, however busy and whatever time of day

Be familiar with all hotel services/features and local attractions/activities to respond to guest inquiries accurately

Inspect vehicle for damage; document required repairs

Inspect vehicle for operating condition and rectify any deficiencies (i.e., tire pressure, oil/fuel/water levels)

Inspect vehicle for cleanliness, inside and out; rectify any deficiencies

Communicate vehicle maintenance needs to proper leaders

Ensure the safety of all passengers and their belongings

Drive the vehicle to transport guests/visitors to and from designated destinations

Communicate any delays, problems and passenger needs with the hotel by radio, using proper codes

Load/unload passengers' luggage and ski equipment into/out of the vehicle

Document all trips accurately prior to the start of and at the conclusion of each

Qualifications:
Availability to work a varied schedule of evenings, weekends, and holidays

Valid Driver’s License and Passenger endorsement CDL

Excellent driving record as detailed by Insurance Company requirements

Thorough knowledge of local roads

Ability to provide legible communication and directions

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to walk, talk, see, and hear. Must be capable of sitting 90% or more of a normal 8 hour work shift. Must be capable of carrying, lifting. pushing or pulling up to 20lbs. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perceptions and the ability to adjust focus. Must be capable of answering phones, radios, and using a computer.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be exposed to indoor and outdoor working environments. The noise level in the work environment is low to moderate.
