Title: LPN – LTC

Location: Carson City, NV 89701

Duration: 8-week Contract with a high possibility of extension

Shift: 12 Hours, Nights (6:00 PM – 6:00 AM) (Thur-Sat)

Guaranteed Hours: 36/Per Week

Pay Range: $38-$44 /Per Hour (DOE)

Job Summary:

Assists in the professional management of the facility's medical department

Apply appropriate nursing skills in the care and treatment of inmates/residents.

Attend sick calls with the physician to see inmates/residents; prepare a list of inmates/residents to be examined.

Prepare the examination room and equipment. Operate pill calls, dispense medication, and document as required by applicable policies and/or procedures.

Control medication, syringes, and other medical supplies or equipment and inventory as required by established procedures.

Perform emergency procedures as needed. Keep equipment and work area clean; utilize appropriate sanitation methods.

Document and report activities in accordance with established policies and/or procedures including medical file documentation.

Requirements:

LPN License in the state of practice or Compact License.

Active BLS-AHA.

One year's LPN experience is required.
