The opportunity to improve health on a global scale stands before us.Where you come in: You will be responsible for set-up, troubleshooting and monitoring of equipment in production, pilot plant, and test lab. You will be supporting basic equipment qualification, maintenance and calibration activities with record keeping. Following gmp guidelines You will participate in the daily set up and shut down of production equipment, such as plasma stations, isop stat lines, etc.You will be assisting in equipment/parts ordering, receiving, and locating them to the designated area. You will be assisting and conducting training on operating equipment. You will be assisting and conducting equipment safety evaluation and audit. What makes you successful: You'll perform a wide variety of engineering laboratory tasks.You'll make detailed observations while performing tasks. You'll perform laboratory-related clerical duties including filing, recordkeeping, and entering data into computer database. You'll maintain laboratory equipment, glassware, and inventory levels of laboratory supplies. You will perform routine testing, solution, and reagent preparation.You'll maintain recordkeeping and documentation for testing and processes performed. You'll perform and troubleshoot data analysis using jmp software. You'll perform troubleshooting for instruments and equipment within the lab. You'll follow laboratory protocols, manufacturing process instructions, and chemical safety guidelines.You will maintain schedules for equipment maintenance and calibration activities. Travel Required: 0-5% Experience and Education Typically requires a minimum of 4-6 years of related experience and a high school diploma/certificate or equivalent.Language Skills: Must be able to communicate effectively in english. Examples of english language proficiency may include (but are not limited to): ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals; ability to write routine reports and correspondence; ability to verbally communicate with leadership, employees, and auditors; ability to comprehend spoken language.Physical Demands: Employees in this position may be required to perform the following physical activities: standing, walking, and sitting for extended periods of time; frequent use of the hands, fingers, wrist, and greater arm to handle small materials, tools, boxes, and trays; lifting and carrying objects up to 50lbs; occasional overhead reaches and lifts; occasional lifts and reaches below the knee; occasional pushing and pulling of materials and objects with moderate forces; occasional crouching/kneeling, twisting, and squatting movements.Work Environment: Employees may be exposed to the following environmental conditions while performing this job: work near moving parts, work with chemicals, outdoor weather conditions, exposure to intense light and/or intermittent light, fast-paced work, and elevated noise levels.
