Title: Manufacturing & Warehouse Associate
Location: Manassas, VA 20109
Duration: 12 months.
Pay Rate: $20.68/hr on W2
Schedule: 3PM-12AM M-F
Note: Mandatory overtime may be required and can occur during the work week or over the weekend.
Job Description:
Performs operations to produce media products such as sterile cell culture media, salt solutions, reagents, buffers, antibiotics, therapeutics, and other sterile and non-sterile solutions.
Performs aseptic operations, including filling and packaging finished product.
Responsibilities:
Perform aseptic operations inside and outside of cleanroom environments.
Conduct sterile processing including washing, autoclaving, and dry heat sterilization according to SOPs.
Assist with equipment changeovers and setup for various production lines.
Support qualification activities including Installation Qualification (IQ), Operational Qualification (OQ), and Performance Qualification (PQ).
Participate in all stages of production including preparation, filling, packaging, labeling, rework, and final product bagging.
Perform torque and fill volume checks for bottle production.
Maintain strict adherence to cleanliness and housekeeping standards in manufacturing areas.
Accurately complete all documentation in batch records using cGMP-compliant documentation practices.
Train and assist new employees on manufacturing procedures and protocols.
Utilize basic PeopleSoft functions for manufacturing documentation or workflow.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives such as iKaizen, Lean Manufacturing, and safety programs.
Required Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED
3 to 12 months of relevant experience in a manufacturing or cleanroom environment
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience in a sterile manufacturing or cleanroom setting
Familiarity with GMP documentation and aseptic techniques
Working Conditions:
Work in cleanroom and regulated manufacturing environments
Exposure to automated equipment, noise, and vibration
Ability to stand for extended periods
Frequent lifting and movement of items, occasionally up to 25 lbs
Required use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including gowning, gloves, safety glasses, and face masks
