Security And Emergency Management Communications Technician

Performs a full range of technical and professional duties directly related to security and emergency management communications involving trunked and conventional two-way radio systems for Fairfax County Public Schools (FCPS), including design, programming, procurement, and maintenance of FCPS public safety and public service radio systems; participates in complex and sensitive projects as assigned; may supervise activities on large-scale events and long-term projects; serves as liaison with FCPS, federal, state, and county public safety communications officials.
