About the Role
The Company is seeking an Associate Vice President of Facilities Operations to lead the management of its facilities, with a strong focus on sustainability, infrastructure enhancement, and cost reduction.
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing various departments, including general maintenance, skilled trades, grounds, engineering, plant operations, fleet management, and energy management.
A key aspect of the role is the development and execution of a strategic roadmap to minimize the company's carbon footprint, improve energy efficiency, and reduce operating costs.
The AVP will also be involved in ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards, as well as managing routine capital and infrastructure projects.
This leadership position requires a strategic thinker who can build and implement plans to ensure the availability and sustainability of the skilled trade workforce.
The AVP will collaborate with key stakeholders to develop and maintain relationships with external partners, ensuring the company receives the best pricing and service for the design, construction, and renovation of its facilities.
Operationally, the role involves providing leadership to all hospital facilities operations leaders, designing and maintaining an effective organizational structure, and developing team members for both trade skill competencies and professional management.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in facilities operations, a proven track record in managing large-scale projects, and a deep commitment to sustainability and regulatory compliance.
