The Physical Therapist Assistant provides physical therapy treatments under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, assisting in restoring function and improving mobility. Dignity Health East Valley Rehabilitation Hospital - Gilbert rehabilitation programs provide ongoing care and specialized treatment to patients throughout their recovery journey. We offer customized, individualized rehabilitation tailored to the specific needs of those recovering from a stroke, brain injury, neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation, and orthopedic injury.A Physical Therapist Assistant (LPTA) who excels in this role: Administer physical therapy interventions as directed by the supervising PT. Assist in patient mobility and exercise routines. Monitor patient responses and report progress to PT. Maintain accurate and timely documentation. Ensure a safe and clean environment for treatment.Team-oriented and patient-focused with strong communication skills. Perform other duties as assigned. What we're looking for: Associate's degree from a PTA program. Rehab or acute care experience preferred. Current PTA license in state of practice. CPR certification required.
