This role is dedicated to ensuring a clean, safe, and sanitary environment in healthcare settings, adhering to infection control standards and safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain cleanliness and safety in assigned areas, including operating rooms and common spaces.
Clean and disinfect surfaces and equipment following established guidelines.
Operate and maintain cleaning equipment and supplies safely and effectively.
Properly handle, separate, and dispose of regular and biohazardous waste.
Adhere to infection prevention, safety, and organizational policies.
Collaborate with team members and work independently to fulfill department objectives.
Education and Experience
High school diploma or G.E.D. preferred.
Previous related experience is advantageous.
Certification as a Surgical Cleaning Technician is preferred.
1-2 years of relevant work experience recommended.
Work Schedule: Full-time, first shift (8 AM - 4 PM) with rotating weekends and holidays.
This position is located in a regional healthcare facility within the Midwest area of the United States.
