Summary: The Business Analyst plays a critical role in supporting, enhancing, and optimizing the technology landscape that underpins our core financial processes.
This role partners closely with FP&A, Accounting, and IT teams to deliver scalable and standardized solutions across reporting, planning and consolidation platforms.
As an early-stage member of the FP&A Center of Excellence, the Business Analyst helps with data consistency, analytical rigor, and decision support to deliver timely, actionable insights.
Essential Functions:
Systems, Data & Analytics Adoption
Perform data analysis and validation to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency across financial systems.
Document business processes, data flows, system configurations, and user procedures.
Identify opportunities for automation, process optimization, and improved system utilization.
FP&A & Finance Enablement
Develop, maintain, and optimize dashboards, data models, and analytics solutions to support decision-making across the organization.
Support and enhance financial reporting, planning and consolidations processes/systems.
Participate in month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close support activities, ensuring system stability and timely issue resolution.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Serve as the primary liaison between Finance/Accounting stakeholders and technical teams to translate business requirements into functional specifications.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve data governance, master data quality, and reporting standardization.
Support training, change management, and adoption of standard Finance/Accounting processes.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or related field.
May consider equivalent work experience in lieu of degree.
3+ years of experience in Finance, Accounting or Financial Systems.
Hands-on experience with: SAP SAC-P (planning models, data actions, stories) SAP Group Reporting (configuration / data collection / translation / elimination / reporting ) Power BI (data modeling, DAX, report development) Strong understanding of financial statements, accounting principles, FP&A processes and financial data structures.
Experience supporting FP&A Centers of Excellence or shared services models.
Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
