Information Security Engineer 3 / PAM Engineer
Client: Financial Services
Location: Charlotte, NC (CIC) / Chandler, AZ / Irving, TX Hybrid (3 days onsite)
Contract Length: 12mo
Pay Rate: $53 - $57
Top Requirements:
35 years of experience with Password / Credential Management systems (PAM)
Strong experience with SQL, Python, and LDAP (Active Directory environments)
Ability to troubleshoot, support, and maintain complex enterprise security systems with strong initiative
Plusses:
Experience with Bravura Password Manager or similar PAM tools (e.g., CyberArk, SailPoint)
Background in software development or ability to read/debug code
Experience working in regulated industries (financial services, healthcare)
Security certifications such as CISSP
Experience supporting enterprise integrations across multiple systems
Job Summary:
In this contingent resource assignment, you may: Consult on or participate in moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within Information Security Engineering and contribute to large-scale planning related to Information Security Engineering deliverables.
Review and analyze moderately complex Information Security Engineering challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.
Contribute to the resolution of moderately complex issues and consult with others to meet Information Security Engineering deliverables while leveraging solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
Collaborate with client personnel in Information Security Engineering.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
Provide operational and engineering support for the Automated Password Reset (APS) platform built on Bravura Password Manager
Support configuration, integration, and maintenance of credential systems across environments (Active Directory, Oracle, mainframe, etc.)
Perform troubleshooting, incident response, and root cause analysis for production issues
Support platform upgrades, patches, and system stabilization efforts
Conduct environment validation and health checks across DEV, QA, and PROD
Manage access, entitlement workflows, and credential lifecycle processes
Collaborate with IAM architects, software engineers, and platform owners to ensure smooth operations
Participate in Agile ceremonies as a subject matter expert
Create and maintain documentation, runbooks, and operational procedures
Assist with enterprise integrations across 10+ connected systems and platforms
Support database migration efforts and system capacity planning initiatives
Actively investigate and resolve issues, demonstrating strong initiative and ownership
