Job Summary: This role is dedicated to ensuring a clean, safe, and sanitary environment in healthcare settings, adhering to infection control standards and safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in assigned areas, including operating rooms and common spaces.
Operate and maintain cleaning equipment and supplies safely and effectively.
Properly handle, separate, and dispose of regular and biohazardous waste.
Adhere to all infection prevention, safety, and organizational policies.
Collaborate with team members and work independently to fulfill department needs.
Education and Experience:
High school diploma or G.E.D. preferred.
Previous related experience is advantageous.
Certification as a Surgical Cleaning Technician is a plus.
1-2 years of relevant work experience preferred.
Work Schedule: Second shift, typically from 3:00 pm to 11:00 pm, with rotating weekends and holidays.
This position is located in a regional healthcare facility serving the Midwest area of the United States.
