Machine Operator-Laser, South Carolina

Our client, a leader in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a Machine Operator-Laser to join their team. As a Machine Operator-Laser, you will be part of the production team supporting daily operations. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, excellent time management abilities, and a willingness to adapt, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Machine Operator-Laser

Location: North Charleston, SC

Pay Range: $23

What's the Job?

Program, setup, and operate CNC Lasers, preferably AMADA.

Communicate with production leads on meeting demands and following schedules.

Inspect production parts for defects and ensure they meet quality standards.

Perform routine maintenance on machinery.

Maintain a clean and safe work environment while complying with safety and regulatory standards.

What's Needed?

Minimum of 2 years experience in programming and setup.

Ability to read and interpret 2D prints, 3D models, and work instructions.

Knowledge of sheet metal, nitrogen usage, and feed rates.

Ability to use basic measurement instruments to verify components meet requirements.

Excellent verbal communication skills and time management abilities.
