Working on various naval platforms and within a lab environment

Performing on-platform installation, troubleshooting, and testing of naval communication systems and equipment

Performing system-level software testing to accurately validate operational readiness

Testing and troubleshooting RF systems

Performing installation and verification tests on RF systems

Performing inspection and testing of installed antennas and antenna lines

Repairing electronics assemblies, cables, systems

Reading, understanding and interpreting technical reports and drawings

Understanding of networking concepts

Assisting troubleshooting and repairing antennas as required

Standing or walking while lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling heavy objects; requires the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work on waterfront platforms during all seasons

Packaging, handling, storage, and transportation of materials and equipment

Supporting and communicating directly with customer

Prioritizing tasks and strong ability to meet deadlines

Performing ad-hoc tasking within contract scope

Up to 50% annual OCONUS travel to major naval shipyard installations

Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in systems engineering or computer science and 2+ years of work-related experience OR 6+ years of work-related experience 

Three+ (3) years of experience operating and configuring L3Harris Radios (AN/PRC-117G specifically) 

Three+ (3) years of experience working with Commercial Off The Shelf (COTS) equipment such as radars, Global Positioning System (GPS), Automated Information System (AIS), Radio Direction Finding, electro-optic (EO) cameras, Global Maritime Distress and Safety System (GMDSS); Audio Processing System (APS); Emergency Radio System  

Experience working OCONUS in security cooperation efforts or for foreign customers (i.e., not for US military bases or US Government (USG) facilities) 

Experience interacting with USG and foreign senior military/government officials 

Experience with foreign disclosure reviews or similar experience such as sanitizing technical documentation 

Experience performing requirements analysis, including activities such as site surveys, System Operation Verification Tests (SOVTs) 

Experience in researching and conducting analysis of alternatives (AoAs) of COTS products 

Direct experience with RF test equipment, including spectrum analyzers, power meters, network analyzers, and oscilloscopes 

Demonstrated experience applying one or more systems engineering processes in the execution of projects, such as: Stakeholder Requirements Definition (operational requirements) 

Installation Test Plan (ITP) 

Systems Integration 

Test and Evaluation 

Excellent written and verbal communication 

A strong desire to learn and problem-solve 

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel, Visio, and PowerPoint

Desired Skills:
Subject Matter Expert of HF, UHF, and VHF Radios and Antennas, Tactical Data Links (Link-11, 16, 22), CENTRIXS, Network Communications, SATCOM

C4I knowledge of systems such as GCCS-J, NAVMACS, ADSI, Various Hypervisors

Security+ or ability to obtain 

Knowledge of installing, configuring and operating Linux and Windows operating systems on both physical hardware and VM environments

Clearance Information:
SRC IS A CONTRACTOR FOR THE U.S. GOVERNMENT, THIS POSITION WILL REQUIRE U.S. CITIZENSHIP AS WELL AS, A U.S. GOVERNMENT SECURITY CLEARANCE AT THE SECRET LEVEL

Travel Requirements:
Up to 50% annual OCONUS travel

Ability to work in austere locations (e.g. Middle Eastern nations)
