Maintenance Planner/ Scheduler, Charlotte

TalentBridge is partnered with a local manufacturing operation looking for an experienced Maintenance Planner/Scheduler.   You will play a key role in coordinating planned maintenance activities while ensuring minimal impact on daily operations. This position serves as the central point for maintenance planning, scheduling preventive and corrective maintenance, and facilitating seamless communication between maintenance, production, and other key departments. Additionally, this role is responsible for managing and optimizing the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to improve efficiency and support operational objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan, schedule, and coordinate maintenance activities to align with production requirements.

Organize and stage necessary parts and materials to ensure efficient execution of maintenance tasks.

Support maintenance teams in preventive maintenance, repairs, and engineering initiatives to enhance equipment reliability.

Investigate maintenance issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions.

Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental regulations.

Manage CMMS functionality, oversee data accuracy, and implement system improvements.

Provide training and support for staff to maximize CMMS utilization.

Collaborate with various departments to balance production needs with proactive maintenance strategies.

Education & Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent required; advanced education or technical certifications preferred.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in an industrial or manufacturing setting.

At least 2 years of experience in maintenance planning and scheduling.

Previous Maintenance experience is required.  

Experience troubleshooting general plant equipment (pumps, piping, heat exchangers, etc.).

Project management and MRO inventory management experience preferred.

Relevant industry certifications (CMRP, CRL, CRE, PMP, etc.) are a plus.

Knowledge of industry safety and compliance standards (OSHA, EPA, etc.).

Familiarity with Six Sigma methodologies is preferred.

Proficiency in CMMS and ERP systems.
