Lead Database Engineer, North Carolina

Job Description:

In this contingent resource assignment, you may: Consult on complex initiatives with broad impact and large-scale planning for Software Engineering.

Review and analyze complex multi-faceted, larger scale or longer-term Software Engineering challenges that require in-depth evaluation of multiple factors including intangibles or unprecedented factors.

Contribute to the resolution of complex and multi-faceted situations requiring solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements that meet deliverables.

Strategically collaborate and consult with client personnel.

Required Qualifications:

5+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work or consulting experience, training, military experience, education.

This position is a Lead Database Engineer for the CTO Data & Analytics team.

This position requires hands-on experience in designing, modeling, coding, debugging, troubleshooting and performance tuning data warehouse-based applications using SQL and MongoDB.

The successful candidate will play a critical role as a team lead who applies hands-on experience with databases, ETL tools, reporting, coding, and data analytics to drive the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of robust business intelligence systems and data visualization strategies.

Specifically, the candidate will build and maintain SQL and MongoDB databases, identify current data gaps, leverage available analytics tools and programming languages to mine available data and deliver analytic findings, and strategize with the team to create solutions with a robust focus on automation, scalability, and action-oriented intelligence.
