Contract description

We currently have a contract opportunity for a Java Developer to lend specific subject matter knowledge around Java, Microservices, Oracle, and Spring stack.

Mentor a team of software engineers, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.

Design, develop, and maintain high-quality software solutions using Java, Microservices, and the Spring stack.

Ensure 100% code coverage for line and branch using JUnit, maintaining high standards of code quality.

Implement automation testing using BDD frameworks like Cucumber or Karate to enhance testing efficiency.

Collaborate with other technology teams and architects to define and develop scalable design solutions.

Qualifications

12+ years of experience in software development, with a strong focus on Java, Microservices, and the Spring stack (Spring Boot, Spring frameworks, Spring Data JPA).

Proven experience as a Software Engineer or in a similar role, demonstrating leadership and mentoring capabilities.

Extensive experience with JUnit and achieving 100% code coverage (line and branch).

Proficiency in automation testing using BDD frameworks like Cucumber or Karate, with a strong understanding of Oracle databases.

Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

Must be local to Charlotte, NC and open to going onsite.
