Full Stack Python FastAPI Developer

Duration: 9 Months Contract Role Location: Denver, CO, Addison, TX, Charlotte, NC or Chicago, IL. This specific role is required to be fulfilled onsite 5 days a week Responsibilities: Contribute to story refinement and requirements definition Perform spikes or proof-of-concept work to mitigate risk or implement new ideasDevelop code solutions and unit tests to deliver stories according to acceptance criteria and compliance requirements Utilize multiple architectural components across data, application, and business layers to design and develop client requirements Assist the team in resolving technical complexities related to story implementationDesign, develop, and modify architecture components, application interfaces, and solution enablers while maintaining architectural integrity Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites including integration, regression, and performance tests Mandatory Skills: Experience designing, developing, and deploying high-volume, multi-tier, distributed transactional applicationsDeep knowledge of Python FastAPI framework or similar technology Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL databases Deep understanding of Git version control Strong understanding of unit testing frameworks Experience working in an Agile development environment with solid knowledge of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)Experience with data access technologies and design patterns Strong relational database experience, including SQL, data modeling, SQL objects, query optimization, and join conditions Experience with component-based web application frameworks Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and SOLID design principlesStrong written and verbal communication skills to collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders Bonus Skills: .NET Core Jenkins MSBuild Ansible XLR Automated testing tools Desired Skills: Experience designing and implementing event-based integration services using message brokers such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similarStrong understanding of Agile methodologies, including Kanban and Scrum Experience with cybersecurity-related workflows, solutions, or implementations EEO Employer Apex Systems is an equal opportunity employer.
