We are looking for a highly skilled individual to contribute to the development of complex electrohydraulic, electromechanical, mechanical, and electropneumatic actuation systems. Responsibilities
Prepare and perform comprehensive experimental development test programs for complex components and systems.
Validate conceptual problem solutions through trade studies and analyses.
Contribute to the preparation of proposal designs, cost estimates, and technical write-ups and reports.
Collaborate as a contributing member in a team of creative, independent individuals.
Represent the company in a manner consistent with its technical reputation.
Coordinate development test programs, often directing supporting development/production technicians.
Ensure complete and accurate test program data and records are generated and maintained.
Perform analysis of test data to verify compliance with customer requirements.
Evaluate, interpret, and discuss results internally and with the customer.
Document and report results of qualification testing and analysis to the customer.
Qualifications
Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or an Associates degree with exceptional experience.
Two to three years of development laboratory experience.
Knowledge of engineering principles, closed-loop control systems, and mechanical/electrical hardware design.
Strong communication skills for effective oral and written dealings with the technical community, including customers and vendors.
Demonstrated exceptional performance in related job roles, such as Senior Product, Senior Environmental, or Senior Development Technician.
