MAINTENANCE ASSISTANT VAN DRIVER ($19-$23/hour—wage based on experience) Full Time: 40-hours per week. Monday—Friday / 8:00am—4:30pm (flexible) May Include Occassional Weekends and Holidays and On-Call

Key responsibilities include, but not limited to: Provide transportation assistive services to assigned residents in accordance with care plans, facility policies and procedures and at the direction of supervisor(s). Assist residents into/out of their appointments Ensures the provision of a safe environment of care is maintained by completing assigned maintenancetasks in accordance with current federal, state and local standards, guidelines and regulations governing the facility ensuring the facility is maintained in a safe and comfortable manner. Perform general maintenance of the property including grounds and physical facility, i.e.: Painting, basic plumbing, basic carpentry, electrical switch plate, outlet cover repairs, heating/cooling and general equipment repair.Cleaning, stripping&waxing facility floors. Mowing, week control, snow removal from sidewalks, debris removal, flower bed upkeep, etc.

May be required to work other areas of the facility as needed for coverage. Help maintain a home like environment for our residents—at Maryhill we are FAMILY!

Education&Experience Requirements: High School Graduate or Equivalent Must be at least 21 years of age Must have valid drivers license and a clean driving record. Must be reliable, good attendance is key to being successful in this role. Long term care experience, preferred. Excellent communication skills.Must be able to work independently and as part of a team. Ability to deal tactfully with other staff, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/ personnel and the general public. Ability to be flexible and multi-task in a fast paced environment of rapid changes. Time management skills.Ability to participate as a member of the team; working with management, nurse supervisors, dietary/housekeeping

and CNAs.
