We are seeking a motivated and results-driven

Sales Consultant

to support and grow our customer base within an assigned territory. This role is responsible for building strong client relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and delivering tailored product solutions to meet customer needs. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator, highly organized, and driven to meet and exceed sales goals.

Key Responsibilities

Serve as the primary point of contact for existing and potential customers within assigned territory Identify local business opportunities and address market challenges Present products and services to prospective clients Assess customer needs and recommend appropriate product solutions Maintain and manage all product needs for customers in assigned territoryReport on sales performance (weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annually) Collaborate with internal teams and sales representatives to meet individual and team quotas Answer customer inquiries regarding products, pricing, and services Cross-sell and upsell products when appropriate Deliver products and samples to customers as neededProvide competitive product comparisons and insights Travel within territory to maintain and grow client relationships

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Sales Representative or similar role Strong communication and interpersonal skills Highly motivated with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals Experience using CRM software Familiarity with the food industry is a plus Knowledge of Center of the Plate products is preferredValid drivers license with a clean driving record Ability to travel frequently and drive long distances

Physical Requirements

Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods Ability to lift up to 80 lbs as needed

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field (preferred) Food service experience is a plus Prior sales experience in a related industry preferred #IND-M
