ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING MANAGER - ROCKWELL AB/PLC PROGRAMMING - TOP PAY!

Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrical Engineering Manager to lead our electrical engineering team within a manufacturing company specializing in vacuum and controlled atmosphere melting furnaces for the specialty metals industry. 20% Travel.

In this role, you will oversee the design, development, and implementation of complex electrical systems and hardware solutions across diverse projects. You will collaborate closely with Electrical Project Engineers to design power generation and control systems for industrial melting furnaces, ensuring technical excellence and compliance with industry standards.

Preferred Qualifications

• Programming and control system design utilizing Rockwell AB and Siemens PLC platforms

Primary Responsibilities:

• Drive innovation and provide technical leadership in electrical engineering initiatives.
• Manage and mentor a cross-disciplinary team of engineers to ensure project success.
• Lead and contribute to advanced projects in a dynamic, high-performance environment
• Coordinate departmental activities, establish priorities, and allocate resources for the design of control systems, PLC software, and electrical components for industrial melting furnace systems.
• Ensure all electrical designs comply with regulatory standards, including OSHA, NFPA, and NEC requirements.
• Oversee the management, growth, and professional development of the electrical engineering team.
• Travel to customer sites as required to support projects and client needs.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support organizational objectives.

Requirements:

• B.S. in Electrical Engineering
• Minimum of 8 years industrial experience, including 2 years in a supervisory role, or 10 years of experience with power/control systems.
• Technical, analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Ability to travel both domestically and internationally.
