Budget Analyst
The Budget Analyst shall be responsible for providing financial and budgetary support across all phases of the Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) process.
The SME II shall ensure budget development, execution, and reporting align with DoW policies, project requirements, and timelines.
Responsibilities include:
Provide support across all phases of the PPBE process, including FYDP and POM development, budget justification, and funds execution, in coordination with the comptroller's office and TYCOM staff.
Create and maintain POM serials utilizing the USFF TRAP PRISM portal.
Prepare financial reports, conduct variance analyses, and develop cost estimates to support budget decision-making for projects across multiple resource sponsors.
Ensure timely funding execution to meet project objectives and established timelines.
Respond to ad hoc requests for budget analysis, reporting, and support as required by the Government.
Minimum Requirements and Experience:
Minimum of 57 years of professional experience in budget analysis, financial management, or related work within a DoD or Navy environment.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field is required.
Must have an Active Top Secret/SCI US Government Clearance.
Note: US Citizenship is required to obtain Top Secret/SCI Clearance.
Desired Experience/Qualifications:
Experience supporting all phases of the PPBE process
Proficiency with USFF TRAP PRISM portal or equivalent budget management systems.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, including preparation of financial reports, briefings, and documentation for Government stakeholders.
Compensation Details:
US: 130,000 to $140,000
