The
Member Services Support Specialist
is a vital part of our pack—keeping tails wagging by ensuring our members, Tester/Observers, facilities, and the public receive prompt, friendly, and accurate support. From fulfillment and shipping to inventory and member communications, this role helps keep our mission moving forward smoothly and efficiently.

What You’ll Be Doing
Member Communications&Support
Serve as a
friendly, first point of contact
for member questions via phone and email
Respond to inquiries with professionalism and care, routing complex issues to the right team members
Manage correspondence related to certificates, visit documentation, appreciation requests, and general member needs
Support members, Tester/Observers, and facilities with a warm, service oriented approach that reflects our values
Fulfillment&Shipping (a.k.a. Making the Magic Happen)
Handle daily outbound fulfillment including Shopify orders, T/O packets, handbooks, applications, booth and promotional materials
Process incoming mail and prepare outgoing shipments on behalf of staff
Ensure the right items go out the door—on time and accurately
Inventory&Supply Management
Keep merchandise and office supplies
organized, stocked, and easy to find
Monitor inventory levels and submit replenishment requests on schedule
Prepare packets, certificates, tags, and other materials that keep operations running smoothly
General Operations
Participate in cross training to support team coverage and continuity
Lend a paw with other duties as assigned by the Office Manager or Executive Director
What We’re Looking For
Interpersonal&Communication Skills
Friendly, patient, and professional in all interactions
Comfortable communicating with members, Tester/Observers, board members, and staff
Able to balance warmth with accuracy and efficiency
Organization&Work Style
Exceptionally organized with strong attention to detail
Self motivated, reliable, and able to independently manage recurring tasks
Enjoys working both independently and as part of a collaborative team
Technical Skills
Proficient in
Google Workspace or Microsoft Office
; comfortable learning new systems
Experience with order fulfillment platforms (like Shopify) or shipping systems is a plus
Experience with CRM or membership databases preferred
Content Knowledge
Interest in therapy dogs and animal assisted activities strongly preferred
Willingness to learn and follow organizational rules, procedures, and philosophy

Pay Details:
$17.00 per hour

Our benefit offerings provide employees the flexibility to choose the type of coverage that meets their individual needs. In addition, our associates may be eligible for paid leave including Paid Sick Leave or any other paid leave required by Federal, State, or local law, as well as Holiday pay where applicable.
