Our Paid Media team is seeking an Associate Retail Media Manager who will be responsible for driving superior business results through impactful retail media strategies and tactics. This role will work alongside key retailers, such as The Home Depot and Lowes, to strategize and execute digital media activations that meet both our business and campaign objectives. Specifically, this role is responsible for teaming up with our marketing retailer counterparts to ensure the best execution of our brand investments.
Reporting to the Retail Media Manager, this is a role requiring an analytical mindset as well as a strong desire to seek out new solutions in the rapidly evolving retail media space. This includes activities such as providing annual and ongoing budget recommendations, highlighting other operational key performance indicators (KPIs) or opportunities that impact media effectiveness.
This role requires hybrid presence within the office 3 days per week (Tue, Wed, Thur) in our Chicago/Deerfield office.
Responsibilities:
Orchestrate the development and execution of media strategies for retail media channels, including developing strategic roadmaps, test plans, and analyzing results/developing insights.
Manage and optimize retail media campaigns inclusive of Sponsored Advertising across retail networks.
Own the media aspect of our retailer relationships by building solid rapport, demonstrating transparency, and delivering results against joint business objectives.
Demonstrate retail media thought leadership by developing and delivering materials, such as presentations, Point of Views (POVs), business cases, execution process documents, playbooks, optimization best practices and performance reports.
Measure efficacy of the strategy through regular reporting against core retail media KPIs and ad-hoc audits to identify areas for refinement.
Partner cross-functionally with brand development, sales, channel, digital commerce, and other teams to provide visibility into retail media strategies and tactics to gain alignment and synergies across teams.
Develop annual budget recommendations and properly allocate across campaigns to align with high level brand and business objectives
Collaborate with Paid Media team members including Paid Search, Social, and Programmatic leads to identify key learnings and cross opportunities
Prepare monthly and quarterly retail media performance reports to analyze category trends, measure media and total sales, and perform competitive benchmarking.
Facilitate the Campaign Management, Planning & Optimization responsibilities for both managed and self-serve retail media activations.
