About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join its executive leadership team.
The CFO will be a key player in building and leading the financial strategy and infrastructure of the organization, with a focus on government contracting and technology.
This role requires a hands-on leader with deep expertise in GovCon financial management, including compliance, cost accounting, and program financial management.
The successful candidate will also be a strategic partner to the CEO, supporting capital strategy, growth initiatives, and long-term value creation.
Responsibilities include serving as a trusted advisor on financial matters, leading financial planning, overseeing all financial operations related to government contracts, and driving capital strategy, including future liquidity events.
Applicants for the CFO position at the company should have prior experience as a CFO or senior finance executive within a government contracting organization, with a proven track record of success in a growth-stage company.
Experience with the U.S. Department of Defense and a strong background in financial management are essential.
The ideal candidate will have a background in defense technology, aerospace, AI, robotics, or advanced systems, and be familiar with hybrid business models.
A Bachelor's degree in a related field is required, with an MBA and/or CPA preferred.
The CFO must be eligible for U.S. security clearance and possess leadership attributes that include a low ego, high ownership mindset, and a strong ability to foster a collaborative, high-accountability culture.
