About the Role
The Company is in search of a Chief Financial Officer to take on a pivotal executive role within a nationally recognized nonprofit.
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the finance function through a period of strategic growth and modernization, with a focus on advancing public protection and professional excellence in the healthcare sector.
Key responsibilities for the CFO include overseeing all financial operations, ensuring continuity and stability during a leadership transition, and preparing for and managing the year-end audit.
The role also involves providing strategic oversight, engaging with board members and external audit partners, and identifying and implementing process automation and technology improvements.
Applicants for the CFO position at the company should have a CPA or CFP, with an MBA or Master's in Accounting/Finance preferred.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leading accounting and finance teams, with experience in nonprofit financials and strong skills in treasury management and audit preparation.
The role requires the ability to communicate complex financial information to executive and board audiences, as well as a flexible, collaborative mindset and experience with process automation and financial systems/technology.
A blend of nonprofit and corporate experience is a bonus.
