Frontispiece black and white to portrait photograph of the author in colonial whites. Portrait photograph also of Miss Jean Bell, the author's sister who accompanied him on his travels. Plentifully illustrated with black and white photographs of the journey. Original publishers quarter cloth binding in orange with textured sides in cream, lettered orange. Gilt lettering to spine.
