Tesla's New Markets team, which plans and executes Tesla's international expansion, is seeking aself-startingintern toassistwith business planning, due diligence, and program support.The New Markets teamis responsible foridentifyingopportunities and organizational challenges innew countriesas well as for the end-to-end program management ofactivemarket entry projects. Youwillbe responsible forbusiness planning and due diligence for global projects as well as ad-hoc support, including analyzing CBA/financial viability and main risks, challenges of near- to medium term market entry opportunities.What You'll Do
Supporting market entry and international expansion related business planning efforts, including aggregating/synthesizing feedback from finance, sales, infrastructure, charging, and other key subject matter teams and experts into executive-ready business plans, presentations, and documents
Country-specific due diligence and analysis for Tesla's medium-term global market entry roadmap and next emerging and frontier markets, including both from growth/revenue opportunities as well as organizational levels of effort/cost
Retrospective market analysis for existing markets to better inform and improve future planning
Ad-hoc support as needed for specific active market entry challenges
Reviewing and improving existing planning and strategy documents,e.g.global prioritizationmethodology, updating/analyzing/segmenting global TAM/SAM sales data, improving and developing Financial Model and Market Sizing models
Design and improve program and project management systems to streamline and automate progress tracking andidentifyingmilestones and risks for active market entry projects
What You'll Bring
Strong generalist with high intellectual horsepower and ability to deep-dive into unfamiliar subject-matters areas (Consulting, PE/IB, Financial analysis/modelling experience, Business school background, etc. helpful)
Strong understanding of macroeconomic, trade, policy, incentive, economic, political, etc. considerations as it relates to market entry planning and strategizing a plus
Self-starter who can handle multiple projects with conflicting priorities with minimal direction, comfortable in fast-paced, dynamic work environment and self-directed problem-solving
Confident and efficient communicator, excellent verbal and written English communication skills and ability to provide or prepare professional presentations to senior managers and executives
Highproficiencyin Excel, PowerPoint; Project management software applications and familiarity with AI applications a plus
