And we want to meet you.As a Manager of Software Engineering at JPMorgan Chase within the Consumer and Community Banking's Trust and Security Technology team, you lead engineering team and manage day-to-day implementation activities by identifying and escalating issues and ensuring your team's work adheres to compliance standards, business requirements, and tactical best practices.Job responsibilities Provides guidance to immediate team of software engineers on daily tasks and activities Sets the overall guidance and expectations for team output, practices, and collaboration Anticipates dependencies with other teams to deliver products and applications in line with business requirementsManages stakeholder relationships and the team's work in accordance with compliance standards, service level agreements, and business requirements Creates a culture of diversity, opportunity, inclusion, and respect for the team members and prioritizes diverse representation Required qualifications, capabilities, and skillsFormal training or certification on Software Engineering concepts and 5+ years applied experience. In addition, 2 + years of experience leading technologists to manage and solve complex technical items within your domain of expertise Experience leading technology projects Proficiency developing Data intensive applications or ETL pipelines using AWS, Java and sparkExperience with Apache Spark, Spark's core concepts, including RDDs, Data Frames, and Spark SQL is required. Experience managing technologists Proficient in automation and continuous delivery methods Proficient in all aspects of the Software Development Life Cycle - OOP principles and design patterns.Advanced understanding of agile methodologies such as CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and Security In-depth knowledge of the financial services industry and their IT systems Experience with AWS cloud services (EC2,S3, Lambda) and deploying and managing applications in a cloud environment. Experience in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field and expertise in technology disciplinesPreferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills Experience working at code level - ability to write clean, maintainable, and efficient code in Java Spring Ecosystem, including Spring Boot, Spring MVC and Spring Data.
