Requirements for Substitute Bus Driver:
High School Diploma or GED equivalency
CPR/First Aid Certificate (or CHP First Aid Testing)
CA Class B Commercial License with "S" endorsement, School Bus Certificate and DL-51
3 months related experience driving a residential route and training
Addition to Bus Driver Testing Pool; required to submit to a random drug and alcohol testing under the guidelines of the Department of Transportation Bus Driver Pool
Candidate must pass a pre-employment Department of Transportation drug screen and physical
