This 1957 Chevrolet Corvette was modified under previous ownership with an aftermarket tube frame, a fuel-injected 5.7-liter LT1 V8, a six-speed manual transmission, rack-and-pinion steering, power-assisted disc brakes, and independent suspension with coilovers. The car is finished in metallic red with a beige soft top, coves, and upholstery. Equipment includes 15″ steel wheels with covers, wide-whitewall tires, VDO gauges, an aftermarket HVAC system, and a Kenwood stereo with Bluetooth.Body-colored 15″ steel wheels wear polished covers and 215/75 American Classic wide-whitewall tires with 2017 date codes. A temporary spare is housed under the carpeted trunk floor. The car has been updated with power-assisted disc brakes.The cockpit features bucket seats with beige leather covers along with a matching dash, door panels, and carpeting. Amenities include an aftermarket heating and air conditioning system as well as a Kenwood CD player with Bluetooth.An aftermarket leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a 140-mph speedometer with a five-digit odometer showing approximately 8k miles, 3k of which have been added by the current owner over the past decade. Additional VDO instrumentation in the center of the dashboard includes a tachometer and clock as well as gauges for fuel, voltage, oil pressure, and coolant temperature.The body-colored engine bay houses a 5.7-liter LT-1 V8 that is said to have been sourced from a 1996 Corvette. Four-into-one tube headers feed a dual exhaust system, and an electric cooling fan has been fitted along with a cone filter and carbon-fiber intake tube. An oil change was performed in late 2021.Power is delivered to the rear wheels through a six-speed Borg Warner T-56 manual transmission.
