CTL Aerospace is a full service NADCAP certified composite-manufacturing company providing services to the major aerospace and governmental organizations since 1946. CTL specializes in the manufacturing of Fiber Reinforced Polymer Structures. We are seeking a talented Quality Control Inspector to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment at our northern Cincinnati, Ohio location (less than 30 minutes from Dayton and/or northern Kentucky).Essential Job Functions: Perform dimensional/visual inspections on components and final assemblies using monitoring and measuring equipment (M&ME) according to production schedule Must comply with internal quality system, business policies, and regulatory requirements and supports business goals and objectives Work with others in a teamwork atmosphere Maintains work-station cleanliness on daily basis Experienced reading and understand blueprints, travelers/routers, and work instructionsCan utilize basic shop math skills to aid with tolerancing and obtaining measurements of product Basic knowledge of GD&T tolerancing Basic understanding of utilizing an ERP system Experience with generating inspection reports and FAI reports Ability to multi-task Basic understanding in issuing nonconforming reports Capable of working with minimal supervision to support manufacturing needs Perform other duties as assignedQualifications: HS Diploma or equivalent. Minimum 2 yrs. experience related to precision manufacturing and inspection (Aerospace industry with emphasis on composite manufacturing a plus) Ability to interact with people on the floor, good social skills, and able to work with diverse work groups Good analytical, writing and communication skillsMust be a US Citizen Must be able to work in a manufacturing environment and lift up to 50 lbs.
