Applies technical skills and knowledge to perform a wide range of duties relating to front desk service operations; responsible for processing identification and troubleshoot IDs issues. Create ID badges, take pictures and print badges for all Students, Faculty/Staff, Affiliates, and others. Troubleshoot badge issues (badge not granting access or other functions).Perform preventative maintenance and cleaning of badge printers; perform off-site badging at various orientations. Monitor systems participate in troubleshooting/problem determination and make hardware/software repairs or refer problem to appropriate party. Follow up to inform department of current problem status and ensure issue is resolved.Perform related duties based on departmental need. This job description can be changed at any time. Minimum Requirements
High School Diploma or GED Enrolled at a post-secondary institution or a secondary school. Enrolled at least part-time (one or more credit hours if at a post-secondary institution), except for summer term, or will be a registered student during the next academic term. Must be at least 16 years of age. "Enrollment" shall include: The period between two successive terms for which the student is enrolled. The one "off" term in each academic year in which the student is not enrolled. Student employee status may be retained for one additional term following either graduation or withdrawal from enrollment. Must pass background check and be a US Citizen Must have basic computer skillsUC is an E-Verify employer. If hired into this position, you will be required to provide satisfactory proof of employment eligibility by providing acceptable, original forms of identification for employment verification via the Federal I-9 employment verification process.
