29/hr, 1st shift! (5am-3:30pm) This role involves performing high-quality MIG, TIG, and flux core welding on stainless steel, aluminum, and other metals while following blueprints and drawings. You will apply strong fabrication skills, adhere to welding safety standards, and contribute to the production of precise, durable metal components.Responsibilities Perform MIG, TIG, and flux core welding on stainless steel, aluminum, and other metals according to project specifications. Interpret and work from blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders to complete welding and fabrication tasks accurately. Set up, operate, and adjust welding equipment, including computerized welding systems, to achieve consistent, high-quality welds.Fabricate, assemble, and repair metal structures and components using appropriate welding techniques and tools. Follow established welding quality control procedures to inspect, verify, and document weld quality. Use brazing techniques when required to join metals and support fabrication needs. Maintain a safe work area by following welding safety practices, including proper use of personal protective equipment and safe handling of tools and materials.Inspect materials, components, and finished welds for defects and make necessary adjustments or repairs. Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals and project deadlines. Perform routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting on welding equipment to ensure optimal performance.This is a Contract position based out of Fairfield, OH. The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $29.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
