Chassis Systems Designer (Automotive / Motorcycle Platforms)
We are seeking a skilled Chassis Systems Designer to support the development of motorcycle and parts&accessories programs across. The role involves end-to-end design support including CAD modeling, drawing creation, supplier collaboration, tolerance analysis, and validation activities. The designer will work closely with engineering teams, program management, and suppliers in a fast-paced product development environment.Key Responsibilities
Design and develop plastic, soft foam, and metallic components for chassis systems Create and update 3D CAD models, assemblies, and complex surfaces using Creo Generate and modify engineering drawings aligned to project requirements Perform tolerance stack-up analysis and bolted joint calculationsCollaborate with internal stakeholders and external suppliers for design and material changes Support mock-up builds, physical validation, and part inspection activities Review and support PPAP (Production Part Approval Process) documentation and validation Manage engineering change activities (ECR/ECA/ECN) using PLM tools such as WindchillParticipate in technical discussions, reviews, and cross-functional meetings Provide status updates, reports, and support project tracking activities Must-Have Skills
Strong experience in CAD design using Creo Knowledge of plastic, sheet metal, and soft material design principles Experience in tolerance stack-up and GD&T Understanding of engineering drawings and manufacturing processes Exposure to PLM systems (Windchill preferred) Hands-on experience in product development and validation cycles Ability to work with suppliers and cross-functional engineering teams Strong analytical and problem-solving skillsGood-to-Have Skills
Experience in motorcycle or automotive chassis systems Familiarity with PPAP, APQP processes Exposure to mock-up builds and physical validation testing Knowledge of bolted joint design and calculations Experience working in a global/offshore delivery model Understanding of BOM management and engineering change workflowsExperience
3–8 years of relevant experience in mechanical design / automotive design Prior experience in automotive, motorcycle, or mobility domain preferred Experience working in OEM / Tier-1 / Engineering services organizations is advantageous Educational Qualification
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering / Automotive Engineering / Product Design Master's degree is a plus (optional) Work Environment&Collaboration
